Pre-dinner cruise around the lake! Optional group boat experience, please indicate your preference to join via our Travel Survey.
6:30PM
Roll into the evening and join us for an aperitif al fresco at Castello Oldofredi before dinner.
7:00PM
Help us kick off the festivities with pizza, wine and good times on the terrace as we watch the sunset over the lake.
DRESS CODE Italian garden party, comfortably-chic // breezy sundresses, linens, chinos etc are all welcomed!

Simple breakfast will be served on-site. Come in comfortable clothes and start our special day with us!
Afternoon
We hope you’ll be able to take this time to soak up Monte Isola. Activities on island include, hiking (there are family-friendly routes), renting bikes, lounging at the beaches, renting a boat to explore the lake and other surrounding towns, relaxing on-site (use of the pool is available to all). More details and information for planning can be found on the ‘Logistics’ page.

Our ceremony by the lake will begin at 5pm and celebrations will continue on through the evening to include cocktails, dinner in the olive grove and dancing the night away under the stars!

Check-out of Castello Oldofredi. We know many plan to extend their trips (hooray!) for planning purposes please remember a ferry ride is required to get back to the mainland (Sulzano) and it is a roughly 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Milan from where you can access trains and planes to the rest of Italy/Europe.

Fun fact: Mike and Caitlin took their first international trip together less than 3 months into dating. When we met up to uber to the airport together each with only a backpack as luggage, we knew this could be the start of something good!
Whether it’s exploring rugged Mexican or Belizean beaches, leisuring through the French countryside, southern Italy, chasing waves from Malibu to Hawaii, or sneaking away to our favorite place, Jackson Hole - we share a deep love of traveling and experiencing new places.
For our wedding, we hope to share the magic of leaving your daily life behind and truly surrendering to the whims, challenges, spontaneity and authenticity of being out of your comfort zone. It is our hope that we will be able to truly connect and be present with each and everyone of our cherished guests as we start our ultimate adventure.
And the rest is history
No matter what destinations are in store for us, the most amazing journey will always be our marriage. The foundation for our future, our family, and our personal growth. We feel grateful to be surrounded by great examples of commitment and marriage, knowing we have people we can turn to for advice as we navigate life’s peaks and valleys together.
